Tom Mason has been involved in the boating industry for over 40 years.
He started out as a salesman selling what he loved, boats. He then started Hillsboro Marine were he was a dealer for Mako and other brands.
in 2000 he started Midnight Express and was the first builder to introduce center console boats with triple outboard and later quads.
In 2010 Midnight Express was awarded a contract from the Department of Homeland Security to build 50 boats. The majority of these boats are still in use today.
Tom sold Midnight Express and purchased PowerPlay Boats when it went into bankruptcy. The boats were updates to new and modern designs.
